TransAdelaide comprises of various positions ranging from operational roles (Operations Controllers, Drivers, Passenger Service Assistants, Tram Operators, Ticket Clerks), Trades (Signal Maintenance Fitters, Track Workers and Building Trades) to the administrative (Secretarial, Marketing, Accountants, Information Systems and Human Resources) and Engineering (including Project Management) areas to name a few.
TransAdelaide vacancies are initially advertised to internal staff, surplus staff and other government employees. However, when the need arises TransAdelaide uses The Advertiser, www.careerone.com.au and this website to advertise external vacancies. ACCOUNTANT
(ASSETS & PROJECTS)
TASO Level 5 ($59,236- $66,356)
This role is for an experienced tertiary qualified Accountant. The Accountant's responsibility is to generate timely and accurate reporting and analysis on TransAdelaide's asset management and project related income and expenditure. High quality financial support and advice to business units is required within this role, along with being accountable for making a positive contribution to annual report preparation, budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting and presentation of findings to Management and Executive. |
OPERATIONAL
READINESS MANAGER The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, review, amend and then implement the Commissioning Plan and Operational Readiness Plan for the nominated projects. The Operational Readiness Manager's other responsibilities will include ensuring that infrastructure projects being planned and delivered for TransAdelaide operations will be fit for purpose upon commissioning and handover. The position will also cover the integration of projects into the existing network and ensuring that they are brought into operation in a safe and reliable manner. |
